We're Back!

Sorry for our long absence! We've had a lot going on. Let's catch you up.

Julia has been talking up a storm and is a combination good sister/mean sister--just like a 2 1/2 year old should be. She got a tricycle last week. A nice new Radio Flyer tricycle with a bell and tassels on the handle bars. Even in the lowest seat position, she's not quite tall enough to comfortable peddle so Daddy is going to have to rig up some extensions for her. She loves to read, play with her stuffed animals and Bitty Baby and play outside.

Vivian is now 13 months old. She started walking before her birthday and is everywhere fast. Our patio door didn't have a lock on the screen and she got out a few times when I had my back turned. It has a lock now. She loves to climb and read books. She has been climbing up the stairs for months now and has just started scooting down them. She also likes to play outside and dig in the dirt and eat rocks (she doesn't actually eat them, she just tucks them in her cheeks). She had great fun eating cake on her birthday and later at her birthday party. We also had her dedicated at church on Mother's Day and did very well with the pastor.

Dan is still working hard to provide for our family. He started playing on the church coed softball team again this year. He was even playing 1st base. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago he was going after a ball and got plowed over by the base runner (the guy had a good 100 lbs on Dan). After a 10:00 pm trip to the ER he was diagnosed with a separated AC joint in his right shoulder. No more softball. He wore a sling for a week and has just been managing the pain and discomfort. He won't need to have surgery unless he wants the small bump on his shoulder to go away. He doesn't look like Quasimodo so I think he'll live with the lump.

Robyn has been the busiest, of course, which explains the lack of blogging. She just finished taking 2 online classes through the University of Phoenix to renew her teaching license. We also found out just before Vivian's birthday that Baby #3 is on the way! (Sorry to Amy and Leigh who we have definitely lied to about this.) Due date is January 8th so she's 10 weeks. We've had 3 ultrasounds and everything looks good!

We hope to have more regular posts now, so keep checking in!
