What We've Been Up To

I know--I'm a terrible blogger. It's been, what, 3 weeks since my last post? Sorry!

Here's a quick rundown of what we've been up to that has kept me from blogging properly.

Dan
* working hard to provide for our family, as usual
* started playing on our church softball team
* took last week off to do projects around the house--most of them got done

Robyn
* busy taking care of 2 children under 3
* started 1 of 2 online classes to renew teaching license by the end of June

Julia
* saying more words and sentences every day!
* loves that the weather is nice so she can go out and swing, slide, play catch, and play in the dirt
* loves to help Mommy take care of Vivian

Vivian
*almost 1 year old!!!
*waves bye-bye
*almost walking! she can take 6 or more steps before falling down or reaching her destination
* a much better eater than her big sister--she'll eat just about everything we put in her mouth

Well, that's a quick update. Checkout our Snapfish account. All pictures are there through Easter. We had family pictures and Vivian's 1 year pictures done last week. I'll put some out there for everyone to enjoy soon! And , if you regularly get pictures, we'll give then to you the next time we see you or they'll be in the mail soon.

Vivian's Room

We completed phase 3 of Vivian's new room this past weekend.

Phase 1
*move out the cat boxes and food dishes and move in her crib. (see previous post for pictures)

Phase 2
*put all my crafty supplies into tubs, move everything that was in the closet somewhere else (garage, attic, other closets, yard sale box, trash), and store the crafty supplies in the closet.

Phase 3
*move the computer into a new computer armoire in the kitchen
*find a place for all the stuff that had been stored in the desk--or just piling up
*disassemble the desk and move it out of the house (i.e. into Dan's parking spot in the garage while we wait for Jim and Liegh to take it to their house)
*move Vivian's crib into it's final place
*retrieve the closet doors from the attic (they were removed so we could store more stuff in the closet) and placed back on the closet
There are still a few stray items that need to be relocated, but it is much better than when we started a few weeks ago.
Phase 4 will be in a couple of weeks. We will take the hideous paneling off the wall and prime the whole room until Baby #3 comes along (no, we are not pregnant) and the color will be determined by whether it is a boy or girl.
(We would like to thank Uncle Sam for his contribution this project. If it were not for a generous and unexpected tax refund this would have been more difficult to pull off)
