She had her cardiology appointment this morning and her Dr. said that the hole in her heart is now so small that she can't even hear the murmur anymore. The leak from the aortic valve is now so small that she doesn't foresee Julia needing to have surgery.
PRAISE GOD!
The Dr. can't completely rule out the leak getting bigger in the future--we never know how things will change as she grows--but for now, this is definitely an answer to prayer! We don't go back to see the cardiologist until next year.
Julia did so well throughout the ultrasound. She didn't complain when the US Tech put on the EKG sticky things and was calm with the gel and the wand rolling all over her chest. (Sitting with Mommy and watching a movie about farm animals might have helped)
